Eight 911 service providers will be paying steep FCC penalties for failure to file service reliability certifications by last year’s deadline. For this year, the filing deadline was last Friday, October 15. Did they learn their lesson? Or will we have a new list you’ve gotten their hands slapped again? What we do know, is that the FCC is taking it seriously with financial penalties.
