Nokia is reporting that they may have cracked the code on making mmWave for 5G Fixed Wireless Access usable. One of the propagation issues troubling 5G deployment is the inability to penetrate walls and buildings. Nokia engineers tinkering with the problem may have come up with a workaround. This is a critical advancement, that will make 5G more of a reality and significantly improve indoor reception and transmission.
